Music is something that people of all ages enjoy without any kind of limitations. It connects people to what they feel in the real world. The evolution of music is a significant outcome of how people have accepted all forms of music and artists. People debate about the era that changed everything for the music industry. Everyone has different opinions as per their respective taste in music. We are going to talk about the era that normalized different forms of music and how good it was. Yes, the 90s! The 90s music artists were a different breed altogether because they influenced the people. While heavy metal was not at the highest level, artists from other genres took the lead.

The impact that the music artists created during the decade is still growing day-by-day. For example, in transforming pop culture, Britney Spears played a huge part. Her songs attracted a lot of controversies but soon more people especially the artists realized that expressing yourself freely on the stage was going to be the future. Britney set the stage for artists like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and even Taylor Swift so that they do not hesitate to express themselves the way they are. Gwen Stefani and Lil Kim were other female artists that influenced a major chunk of music listeners in their unique way of performances.

Bands like Nirvana made sure that Alternative and heavy music was not yet out of the park. Songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit are still heard by millions of people worldwide. While bands like AC/DC were trying to regain popularity in the 90s, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, and Metallica were some of the bands that focused more on performing in the stadiums rather than recording albums in that decade which increased their presence around the country. The merchandise sale of these bands and individual artists proved the then-existing fan base of these stars.

Hip-hop was gaining momentum as the new big thing in music. Artists like Tupac Shakur and Biggie still contribute to the music industry even after their death in the same decade. Tupac was famous because he wrote what he observed around him about discrimination and the unjust treatment towards the Black community in America. His roles in movies inspired a lot of people and his fandom grew stronger as he was the topic of news now and then. His…
